Whether you're travelling by car, train or air – our Loisach in the Tyrolean Zugspitz Arena is easy and straightforward to reach from throughout Europe.
The Sporthotel Loisach is situated in Tyrol, in the heart of the Zugspitz Arena, not far from the German border and Garmisch-Partenkirchen. You can reach us from all directions via the well-maintained road network, be it from Innsbruck, Bregenz or Munich.
If you are travelling from German or the Benelux countries, the unser LOISACH in Lermoos is ideally reached on the German A7 and A 95 motorways. Drive to the heart of the Tyrolean Zugspitz Arena via Munich and Garmisch-Partenkirchen. We are easy to reach on major roads, so there's no need to worry about driving around narrow mountain passes! There is no need to pay the Austrian road tax either (vignette)!
If you are travelling from Switzerland by car, the best route is with the Rheintal motorway via Arlberg – Imst and the Fernpass road.
We offer a pick-up service from Lermoos railway station. There are direct trains from Munich main station and Garmisch-Partenkirchen on the "Ausserfernbahn" railway service every hour.
We will also be pleased to organise a shuttle service for you from other major railway stations, such as Innsbruck, Kempten, Reutte, Salzburg, Bregenz, Zürich or Stuttgart!
unser LOISACH is around two and a half hours' drive away from Munich International Airport, and around the same amount of time from Friedrichshafen Airport.
Innsbruck Airport is about an hour's drive away from Lermoos, and Memmingen Airport is one and a half hours. We will be pleased to organise a shuttle service for you for your journey from one of the airports!
