Technical details of the longest pedestrian suspension bridge:

  • Height of bridge: 114.60 metres
  • Length of bridge: 406 metres
  • Width of the walkway: 1.2 metres
  • Bridge carried by: 4 carrier cables, each with a diameter of 60 millimetres
  • Safety: 8 rock bolts situated in the ground every 17 metres
  • Actual weight: 70 tonnes
  • Bridge load: max. 500 people

Opening hours and ticket information

This breathtaking bridge is open to visitors daily from 8:00 until 22:00 hrs. Reduced-price tickets are available for children, families and groups at the Ehrenberg ticket centre beneath the bridge. The ticket machines adjacent to the bridge gates only vend full price tickets and only accept cash.
